Incubator calibration

CO2 incubator calibration in Florida & Puerto Rico

On-site CO2 incubator calibration for IVF, cell culture, microbiology and research labs. We verify and calibrate chamber temperature and CO2 concentration against NIST-traceable references, and document every incubator for CAP, CLIA and your quality system.

What incubator calibration covers

A drifting CO2 sensor changes the pH of every culture in the chamber, and a display that reads 37 °C does not prove the chamber is at 37 °C. Calibration checks both against independent references.

Temperature

Chamber temperature measured with a NIST-traceable reference at your set point, compared with the display and adjusted where needed.

CO2 concentration

CO2 measured with a calibrated analyzer through the sample port, compared with the display and adjusted to match.

As-found and as-left

Readings before and after adjustment, so you can see whether the incubator was out of tolerance and act on any affected work.

Certificate and label

A certificate per incubator with the reference instruments and their due dates, plus a dated label on the unit.

Incubator calibration near you

South Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach) is usually same-day or next-day. In Tampa Bay, Orlando and Southwest Florida, a technician can often be on site the next day and within 72 hours at most. Puerto Rico is served on planned service trips, so call 305.238.5326 to get on the next visit. Incubators are calibrated in place, so cultures never leave the lab.

Incubator calibration pricing

CO2 and standard incubators

Starting from $95.00 per incubator. Temperature, and CO2 where applicable, verified against traceable references and adjusted, with as-found and as-left results and a certificate.

Several incubators

Calibrating every incubator, plus pipettes and thermometers, on one visit shares the trip and keeps due dates aligned.

Parts

Repairs and parts are quoted separately.

One visit for the whole lab

Incubators are usually calibrated alongside pipettes, thermometers and data loggers, centrifuges and cold storage, so every due date lands on one schedule. IVF labs can see our IVF cold-chain compliance guide.

CO2 incubator calibration — common questions

How much does incubator calibration cost?
Incubator calibration, for CO2 and standard incubators, is available starting from $95.00 per incubator with a certificate. Repairs and parts are quoted separately.
How is a CO2 incubator calibrated?
We measure chamber temperature with a NIST-traceable reference thermometer and CO2 concentration with a calibrated CO2 analyzer, compare both to the incubator display at your set points, adjust the display where needed, and record as-found and as-left results.
How often should a CO2 incubator be calibrated?
Most labs verify incubator temperature and CO2 at least once a year, and IVF and cell culture labs often more frequently. Recalibrate after sensor replacement, repair or relocation.
Which incubators do you calibrate?
CO2 incubators used in IVF, cell culture, microbiology and research labs, plus standard laboratory incubators for temperature. Send the make and model and we confirm the scope.
What do we receive after calibration?
A certificate for each incubator with temperature and CO2 readings at your set points, the reference instruments used and their calibration dates, as-found and as-left results, and a dated label on the unit.
What if the incubator needs repair?
Sensor, door seal, fan and control faults are handled through our scientific refrigeration service, and the incubator is recalibrated before it goes back into use.
