Laboratory equipment calibration & verification

One partner for NIST-traceable calibration across your bench — centrifuges, pipettes, thermometers, and PCR thermocyclers — documented to the standard CLIA and CAP surveyors expect.

// One traceable program

Every reading verified, every certificate traceable

Instead of juggling separate vendors for each instrument, BMCA runs your whole calibration program from a single accountable point — consistent certificates, one schedule, and labels that make survey day uneventful.

Why one partner wins

Calibration gaps and equipment gaps are the same gaps. A single team that calibrates, verifies, and documents everything means nothing falls between your compliance consultant and your service vendor.

Our calibration scope

  • Centrifuge RPM & timer verification
  • Single- & multi-channel pipette calibration (gravimetric)
  • Thermometer calibration & QC
  • PCR thermocycler calibration & PM
  • Electrical safety verification (NFPA 99)
  • NIST-traceable certificates & device labeling

// Frequently asked

Laboratory equipment calibration & verification — common questions

What does NIST-traceable calibration mean?
It means every measurement is made with reference standards whose accuracy traces back through an unbroken chain to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. That traceability is what makes a certificate credible to CLIA and CAP assessors.
Which instruments do you calibrate?
Centrifuges (RPM and timer), single- and multi-channel pipettes (gravimetric), thermometers and temperature-monitoring devices, and PCR thermocyclers — plus electrical safety verification on the same visit.
How often should lab equipment be calibrated?
Intervals depend on the instrument and your accrediting body, but annual calibration is common, with pipettes and critical instruments often verified more frequently. We set a schedule per device and keep you ahead of it.
Will calibration help us pass a CAP or CLIA inspection?
Yes. Documented, in-tolerance calibration with current certificates and labels is exactly what assessors look for. We organize the records so you can produce proof instantly.
Do you calibrate on-site or do we ship equipment out?
We calibrate on-site wherever possible, minimizing downtime — your instruments stay in your lab and stay in service.
