Lab equipment repair and service near you

South Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach) is usually same-day or next-day, from the Miami shop where our technicians, parts and loaners are based. In Tampa Bay, Orlando and Southwest Florida, a technician can often be on site the next day and within 72 hours at most. Puerto Rico is served on planned service trips, so call 305.238.5326 to get on the next visit before a slow failure becomes an emergency.

Every repair ends with a verification

A repaired instrument is not ready until it is shown to work. After each repair we check the function that failed, verify temperature, speed or calibration where the instrument calls for it, and leave a written report: what failed, what was replaced and the as-left results. That report goes straight into your equipment file for CLIA, CAP and AHCA surveys.

Equipment down right now?

Call 305.238.5326 for immediate triage. See emergency service and loaners for what to do in the first few minutes, and rental and loaner instruments if you need coverage while a unit is out. To stop repeat breakdowns, put the instrument on a service agreement with scheduled preventive maintenance.

Lab equipment repair — common questions

What lab equipment do you repair?
Cryostats, microtomes, tissue processors, stainers and coverslippers, embedding centers, centrifuges, PCR thermal cyclers, and lab refrigerators and freezers, including -80 °C units. Send the make and model and we confirm.
Do you repair all brands?
Yes. We are manufacturer-independent and work on Leica, Sakura, Thermo/Epredia, Avantik, Applied Biosystems, Eppendorf and other common lab brands. Parts availability is confirmed before the visit.
Do you provide loaner equipment during repairs?
Yes. Loaner cryostats, microtomes and embedding centers are kept in our Miami shop, so a repair that runs past a day does not stop your work.
How fast can a technician get to my lab?
South Florida is usually same-day or next-day. In Tampa Bay, Orlando and Southwest Florida a technician can often be there the next day and within 72 hours at most. Puerto Rico is served on planned service trips.
What should I send when requesting a repair?
The make, model and serial number, what the equipment is doing, and when you need it back in service. Photos or error codes help us bring the right parts.
